About

Ali Kareem is an Iraqi-American filmmaker whose journey from refugee to USC Film School graduate fuels a borderless eye for story. While Senior Field Producer on Dr. Phil Primetime, he reinvented the show’s on-location look, often shooting his own packages, and earned a swift promotion within a year. Ali's diverse experience includes directing fifteen short films, shaping NatGeo’s “Something Bit Me” as an Associate Story Producer, and shot icons like Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and the Jonas Brothers during his time as Creative Services Director at WestwoodOne. His narrative instincts were further sharpened through post-production roles on the feature film “The Parts You Lose” starring Aaron Paul, and BBC/A&E’s Biker Battleground Phoenix. Equally adept at crafting Fortune 500 campaigns, he has produced compelling content for Salesforce, Lenovo, and Spotify, guiding crews from initial concept to final cut. Ali is driven to ignite bold, under-represented voices through globally resonant, cinematic storytelling across all formats.
